CORE CAPABILITIES
Threat Systems Engineering
SEG works with the U.S. Navy and the Missile Defense Agency to provide detailed understanding and engineering characterizations of threat ballistic and anti-ship cruise missiles for use in combat system design & evaluation. SEG has developed and implemented high fidelity state-of-the-art models that represent the full target complex (including RF signature models, Six Degree of Freedom Trajectory models, Scattering Center models and Debris Simulation).
Radar Systems Engineering
SEG supports Navy and industry programs across the full spectrum of radar systems engineering, from system requirements definition to hardware and software design and development, integration, and test and evaluation. SEG has developed and implemented a versatile suite of tools for design and analysis, and has expertise in shipboard, airborne, and ground-based radar systems.
Combat Systems Engineering
SEG performs combat systems engineering on current and advanced U. S. Navy air defense systems. The focus is Aegis cruisers and destroyers’ ability to conduct ballistic &cruise missile defense. This includes threat definition, system requirements and performance prediction, and identification and resolution of system issues.
Software Engineering
SEG has extensive experience in a wide variety of software development applications including real time embedded systems and high fidelity simulations. Experience includes digital signal processing, display and control systems, imaging, and pre and post mission analysis software. Software development assessed at CMMI Level 3.
